Samapico Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 yeah... seems like a very unstable connection, the min ping values are normal (quite low, too) ... What type of internet connection do you have? And do you use a wireless router?
yalda1661 Posted September 6, 2007 Author Report Posted September 6, 2007 What type of internet connection do you have? And do you use a wireless router? umm DSL? i'm not even sure... Shock Posted September 9, 2007 Report Posted September 9, 2007 That's quite a bit of lag you're experiencing. Have you tried connecting directly to the modem? Also, make sure no one is downloading on your network.
Ganjaman USS Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 well there's a !@#$%^&* of a lot of packet loss on some of the hops. Also Bezeqint from what I remember is an Israeli ISP, so the ping to the US is probably pretty shabby as will the lag then be also. Not a lot of help on that one other than either to try a different Israeli ISP with better US routing, or move closer to the US ? yeeeehaw ! luckily for me UK is one country away from US, even so I get pings up in the 200ms area, then again if you're on DSL and you can understand what Im saying try seeing what mode your modem connects to their DSLAM (your local DSL exchange) at , if they use interleaving, try getting technical support to change it to fast-path, lower pings, but a slight loss of reliability, then again, it probably won't change things too much but its still an option to use to see if your connection will work better let me know how it goes
candygirl Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 (edited) do what i did "i emailed all the server that has high loss and sent them the trace.txt (Sympatico was the only one that phoned me to thank me for the info i sent. and they will look into it.Thats only on my end.)
