Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use the sound effects from SubSpace/Continuum in a non-profit project? A college project for example, is it legal?

Are the sounds "still" copyrighted?

And what about the images? smile.gif

Thanks guys

Most of the sounds used are copies or excerpts from other

sources blum.gif So I would not be too concerned about using

them in some other setting.

As far as the legality of doing so, as I have stated many

times in previous posts, you should not concern yourself

too much with using sounds and/or images. Yes, certain

legal rights are attached to them, and yes inappropriate

use can incur some form of legal liability against an un-

authorised user. However, and this is more of a big 'but',

those with a legitimate legal interest in these things would

have an onerous task to enforce their legal rights.

In other words, they would actually have to do something

to stop you (or anyone else for that matter) from using

these things. Personally, I do not see that happening but it

is always a possibility (just a very long shot :( ).
