Miss Meow Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) When i try to start up continuum, an hourgl!@#$%^&* next to the pointer flashes and nothing comes up. Continuum appears in processes for 1 second and dissapears. I tried turning off antivirus and firewall and that didnt work. i tried reinstalling, and reinstaling to a different folder and that didnt work. I tried disabling visual themes and that didnt work. I also eard if u have something plugged into a usb port it doesnt work, so i tried unplugging everything and that didnt work. I looked in regedit and continuum is only in current user, not local machine, so maybe that has something to do with it? i duno. soo im really desperate now, pleeease som1 help T_T Edited September 3, 2007 by Miss Meow
»doc flabby Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 have you tried using the beta? http://www.ssforum.net/index.php?act=annou...p;f=7&id=50
Hakaku Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) Try using Continuum 0.39 (download here); it includes the fix to the problem you're mentioning. Edit: Doc beat me to it :/ Edited September 3, 2007 by Hakaku
Miss Meow Posted September 3, 2007 Author Report Posted September 3, 2007 nope, that doesn't work either >_>
Hakaku Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Post your specs (98, XP, Vista? Graphics card? etc.).Make sure to install Continuum under a user with administrator rights, and make sure you don't have a firewall blocking it (yes, this includes disabling Windows' built-in firewall just to make sure). Do you ever get an error message though?
Shock Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Some program is conflicting with Continuum and if this just recently started happening, it has to be something you've recently installed. Try removing recently installed programs and see if it works. Oh man, I said recently a lot.
