Testtube Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 Ill be short. New version of continuum may be hitting the streets. Have a couple of people interested in maintaining the site for me. It may be time to give the old baby a new look. I am willing to pay! to have a new design done How much you ask? Like 50 dollars thats all i got! Which isnt bad considering you would be doing it to help the community as well. This site is going to be one of if not the biggest pusher of the new version of continuum. the vast majority of SS related sites that have downloads link directly to our files This new version may help bring some new visitors to our game and it would be nice if we had a nice revamped site to go with it. Here is what we need 1)Pretty graphics2)Intergrated file manager with control panel for the addition of new files Able to easily import existing databases and or stats.3) Easy to maintain and use. The site has been keeping a number of records for sometime now. And that can not be lost in the conversion. the file archive includes 1000s of individual files and is a huge task. If you are up to it please reply to this topic. Also please do a nice demo mock up of what your vision of the new SSDL should look like. Keep in mind this is a major portal to the community and thus should represent a good positive and hopefully (fresh) feeling to new visitors

»SOS Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 I can arrange a high-quality redesign and coding for... hmm... let's say 100,000$?
Testtube Posted August 25, 2007 Author Report Posted August 25, 2007 If you come down to 50 dollars you have a deal.
Russky Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 Can I try just making a few small stuff with the GFX, school starts soon, tell me the kind of stuff you have in mind and if it is fairly simple I can manage it, I'd love to help!
Ancient Power Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 lol this is hardly a new version better off named as: minor error changes.
Sass Posted August 27, 2007 Report Posted August 27, 2007 The existing website is nice - it's been reliable. That's a good thing, right?
Testtube Posted August 27, 2007 Author Report Posted August 27, 2007 The only reason its reliable is because i have been hosting it. I need a better looking/navigating site And a much improved way of adding files to the database.
