Zeke Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 One thing I've taken note of over the years is these next-gen systems using virtual arcades, which are exceedingly profitable. One would think that a throwback game could be a nice change of pace. Any thoughts on how SS could roll on a console through Xbox Live or the PSN? As far as I know, they both support keyboards, too. - Z P.S. I'm a PS3 guy, having played S!@#$%^&*ust brought back memories. P.P.S. I still go by Zetirix, even over the PSN.
rootbear75 Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 it could also be put on the Wii as a virtual console game...
»SOS Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 It'd kick !@#$%^&*, if only we had a real developer behind the game, not some shadowy guy like Priit... But above all, this game needs commercial support. When someone comes up with a way to make money from this, we'll get progress. However... that is not likely to happen...
froot Posted August 25, 2007 Report Posted August 25, 2007 i say we make the warbird the new frosted flakes mascot. who's with me?
»SOS Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 But do you have the authority to make it so?
»doc flabby Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 Acctually it would be possible to make a subspace protocol version for XBox Live etc. Because those systems already have extensive anti-cheat systems built it, it saves worrying about that to a large degree....
