jmunky85 Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 !@#$%^&*o, I have loaded the AIbot, it works great, but when I try to add any additional spawns to the bot I get this warning about 20 seconds after I enter the zone. Kickout delay exceeded: Dethdefire (I also get a "packet flood" warning before that.) How can I fix this?
»Maverick Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Make sure the bot is on either vip.txt or on sysop.txt (and the bot logs into sysop upon entering the zone). The kickout delay is something the server does with clients sending too much packets. This usually happens if you're hosting alot of bots on the same server (> 3 bots). Your IP is then sending too much packets which alerts the server and kicks you off. Entering your IP into server.ini / botip property usually fixes this problem.

I entered a "botip=" command under "[misc]" in the server.ini with my Ip on it (was not there before I entered it). It still seems to do the same thing.
»Maverick Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Try "botsip" instead, there is some confusion about which is the correct name.
ThunderJam Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 (edited) Mav did you ever here back from this guy? I used to have the problem a long time ago, don't remember why/how it stopped, but now im curious to know how this was resolved Edited September 29, 2007 by ThunderJam
Samapico Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Misc::BotsIP should be addedhttp://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/Server.ini I don't want to do it cause I don't even know if it works or whatever...
