If the problem keeps on going for a couple of days just make a ping on the hostname :asbnvacygr01.bb.telus.com (154.11.11.42) then call your isp to tell them about the issue. second thoughts try to restart the router

Twinturbo Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 My internet connection is a megabite per second. I'am pretty sre that's fast enough to run the game. All of a sudden about 3 weeks ago I started lagging. I've tried everything to fix it. I've tried every syware possibel to tyr and find somthign that could slow it down turning off firewall etc. My lag is this PING Current:130 ms Average:130 ms Low:130 ms High:130 ms S2C: 18.4% C2S: 0.0% I don't understand what's holding the conneciton up to the server.It seems I'am fast enough but I'am not receiving the info from the game fast enough? Ideas? Also I did a trace and will attach it.trace.txt

Do you have wireless?From looking at your trace, you're loosing most of your ping up until hopone (which is right before the server), but your highest ping is at an unknown adress (67.126.64.65 ), which is more than likely to be related to your ISP. You could try reinstalling Continuum, try the new beta version (0.39), or contact your ISP and ask them about it. Twinturbo Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 (edited) Ok running now till I get 100 cycles. I use windows XP and my connection is DSL. Just happened nowhere about 3 weeks ago. My avg lag was about 1.3 then jumped into 4's and on up. Post again soon. Edit: No other games I play, lag that much so it's weird. Edited August 30, 2007 by Twinturbo

I just re-enstalled the game yesterday after doing a PC recovery to try and fix some problems. Anyway I hope you guys can help me.
