Guest content Posted November 9, 2003 Report Posted November 9, 2003 Those who are wroking on ASSS should find a way to incorporate teamspeak into subspace. For more info www.teamspeak.org this aplication has a VERY practical use for team oriented play. We started using it in WarZone League and team communication has skyrocketed. content

Killing Ape Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 Those who are wroking on ASSS should find a way to incorporate teamspeak into subspace. For more info www.teamspeak.org this aplication has a VERY practical use for team oriented play. We started using it in WarZone League and team communication has skyrocketed. contentFYI Ventrilo is 100x better than teamspeak or teamspeak 2... trust me i've tried them all and it requires much lower bandwidth and its better quality, more reliable program, more features and has an API ect... http://www.ventrilo.com. and this honestly sounds like a screwed up idea anyways, cuz ur gonna have to have it built into the client too not just the server and you can just run the sever seperately anyways rite? also i have a ventrilo server up and running if anyone needs one pm me
Killing Ape Posted January 4, 2004 Report Posted January 4, 2004 lmao i just realized that this topic is really old but what the -*BAD WORD*-
DeadlySoldier!! Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 Do it like Counter-Strike has it... You can bind a key to use ur mic (default K) and talk, and then let go to stop talking would be nice in ss altho i quit playin couple months ago
Jason Posted February 11, 2004 Report Posted February 11, 2004 There's no need to incorporate voice communication into the client or server. Third party apps are just fine.
numpf Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 umm yes? I've used rogerwilco then teamspeak just fine with cont. Whiles there could be some minor features added with integration, I just dont see the need for it. If you see a _need_, you need to explain why and make a case for it, otherwise stfu. -numpf
