Do you guys think it would be a good idea to have a 'bank of work' ?

 

Everything that SSDev does for people should be kept somewhere. Like a link to somewhere. In case other people need it etc. ?

And if all of us could (or some of us (or atleast, I'd like to)) upload stuff, that'd be nice

someone needs to install or code a management system, with a user login system, so we can login and upload to our personal portfolios, then also define a category and place for everything uploaded for the main file repository

I wonder if this can be done with the blogspot site, although I doubt they allow the uploading of files.

I setup a simple forum (YaBB), some type of wiki or CMS would be much better though, but here is a place to start.

i can setup user groups for particular projects to manage their content if they'd like. just let me know on here or via email for those who are interested

not sure what you guys want to do with the wiki. i can set up access control like i said previously so that only dev-team members can modify their respective projects. this allows for files to be uploaded with do!@#$%^&*entation as well. the general public can also view all projects to download the source/binaries or read do!@#$%^&*entation. an example of a project can be seen here: http://allshallperish.no-ip.org/sswiki/...&*S/Complex Edited October 1, 2007 by all_shall_perish
