Mass Staff Exodus from Desert Storm...

Im not going to take the time to read everything in this topic. But there are some things I'd like to say, I've staffed in Desert Storm the past 2 years and as in every other zone people get axed/resign every once in a while, what happens in DS is that sometimes they screw it up as a player and get banned. Then they go to this forum, start a topic and then everyone's like 'Yeah DS is corrupt" " Watch while Desert Storm is run into the ground". Always the same people. But we have a growing population, satisfied players, a brandnew website etc.

 

Another thing that surprises me is that people who never ever come in DS, and dont know !@#$%^&* about whats going on there, bash us. just shut the !@#$%^&* up

Also banning someone because of their name is just as sad as it gets really... Unless of course its a racist name of some sort.

 

Sounds like alot of the staff were experienced enough to run the zone. It's just the decisions they make that make them look like theyre either unsure of what to do or makes them look abusive. Such as all the banning that's apparently going on.

That's because I went around giving a good !@#$%^&* kicking to sort the problem out a while back. Unfortunately its a reputation that well never die.

 

That said I don't mind, I enjoy the challenge of trying to turn the zones reputation around.

Hey skywize and all other people who got banned from DS because of corruption - I feel for you.

 

I understand what it feels like to be banned for 30 days. I have been banned from SSForum for 6 months, so I should know 6 times more than how you all feel. I was unjustly banned for posting pornography on this forum and have scars to prove of my e-flogging - Just check my warning status at 60%. It still hurts me emotionally to this day.

 

We can understand taht this website is run by a bunch of ignorant ASSS (I shall call them South American Baptists for lack of better name) who thinks that pornography is a violent act against women, and that it promotes promiscuity, lawlessness and sinful activities such as masturbation. But all I did was post a picture of an old woman with a flaky butt, showing no breasts. And this is where I say "Come on!"

 

I have yet to find a drug that will allow me to masturbate to that picture (and I because I do not want to risk being banned again, I shall refrain from posting that picture).

 

Slywize, if you ever need help, I can set up a zone for you. In fact, one time when S!@#$%^&* (previous owner of Omega Fire) changed Omega settings, half of the population revolted and started a counter-zone called Alpha Ice. I was not a part of that rebellion, but I know of what happened and I think I can reproduce that same effect for you. However, the counter-zone idea died and all returned to Omega, OH WELL. And I soon became owner of Omega Fire myself.

I havent been where in 2 years? On staff? I wake up every morning and thank god that im not. Plus, im positive things havent changed with henk at all. Lt was an !@#$%^&*hole, but at least he wasnt a peice of !@#$%^&* like henk is. I say bring Lt back. I bet he'd axe half, if not all of staff. Things were running like clockwork until henk got his ego up because he sucked some !@#$%^&* for SSC. Thank god his dream of getting SSCZ never happened.

30 days for hacking is not that extreme. Actually, it seems a little light given the damage a hacker can do.

 

And I think Ophie is the only person on planet Earth who doesn't think pornography objectifies women. (Either you have carefully hidden that opinion from the women in your life or you must be a virgin.) It has its time and place, but its always prudent to ask permission from the people providing the free service before putting porn on it.

The concept of my whole post was to ridicule these arguments made by DS staff and ex-staffs and its emphasis was never placed on pornography, but rather the politics behind control and censorship. pornography was a byproduct of my sarcasm.

 

 

It's idiots like you who take a segment out of people's posts, blow it out of proportion and make things off-topic. BE ashamed of yourself for being one of those ASSS who screws up this forum by making off-topic comments! You have no right to call yourself an administrator.
