I've always found the anti-racism rules quite re!@#$%^&*ed since they're never consistent (so many loopholes). If people have a problem with racism (which is just another form of swearing but on a different mindset imo) they can ?ignore.

I didn't think it would matter since I was in a PRIVATE arena, you know like an arena for privacy and where no one else would be in. Normal zones don't have racism rules in PRIVATE arenas, but I guess Desert Storm isn't all that normal, total garbage.

Tizzy i kindly request you stop trying to get your five minutes of fame and think about this for a second.

 

1. It is well known DS has anti racism rules. For some unknown reason many people seem to think because they disagree with teem they are exempt and/or doing something a little different won't count. I think by now there have been enough incidents and explanations to demonstrate that there is no racism in the zone and that is final. It is clear you did not follow this rule and so you received a ban.

 

As i have said many times on this matter. You don't have to agree with the rules, all we ask is that they are respected.

 

2. You come here, post a far from complete account of what occurred to make someone else look like the bad guy in all this. I personally cant see what part of this sounds like a good idea. This sort of corrupt and selfish way of thinking that we seem to see all to often is a stain on this game which is otherwise full of community spirited people.

 

3. If you have a complaint please come to me or another sysop first. It is what we are all here for. By throwing something straight into the public spotlight you have ignored all of the best ways to solve any problem you have encounterd with the DS staff.

 

I know it was always you intention to provoke then place this here but i thought this point was relevant as it is another reason why this is nothing more then stupidity.

 

Now with all this out in the open can I ask why? This looks like attention seeking to me. You take a controversial rule, break it to get a ban, remove the real reason for it in your accounts and post it in the main forum for the game. If that isn't going to draw attention I am not quite sure what will.

 

 

@root not 100% sure why you were *killed, haven't been in the zone this morning as I'm off to work as soon as I finish posting this. Ill look at it later but I suspect it has something to do with discouraging a trend of people entering the zone and sitting in ?go #nic or the fact that it is annoying. Nevertheless it was only a *kill to empty the arena .

That logs looks fragmented to me, it just doesn't seem to flow like a usual chat would.

 

You have also used that "abusing NL kids" argument in every thread about DS and noone listens to it anymore. If you want to find a fault with DS pleace try to use constructive critisim instead of jumping on this bandwaggon.

If you read up Nic is related because tizzy went from "!@#$%^&*" to "nicger" (obviously trying to change one letter to make things controversial) then "nic".

 

Nic being related to Nicger then !@#$%^&* is how they connect.

We don't ban our population we just ban the idiots that enter the zone looking for one.

 

People that do this kind of thing are looking for a ban for some reason or another. I suppose they pick DS because the rules on racism make it an easy target.

 

With people like this I take the at!@#$%^&*ude of if you are looking for a ban you may have one.

 

 

 

 

The real issue here is that there are people that simply cannot respect rules and/or enjoy jumping on a bandwagon started by these people. This kind of behavior does not support an argument stating that all staff in DS are abusive. There have been incidents of abuse in DS in the past which have been dealt with, the policy on bans had been adjusted to make it more fair. In this case you broke the rules which in my view are clear and so you were banned. Simple.

 

Unfortunately nothing anyone does will solve the issue of a minority group with a grudge against DS that are bent on ruining things by any means neccacary.
