All posts made by trial members are made invisible and subject to review, as well as a 60 second flood moderation. Once that user has made 5 posts, they are promoted to the Members group and able to post freely. I'm pretty sure we should be able to catch any spam within 5 posts. The captcha system has knocked out 99% of spam there, proving the previous spam was nothing more than bots. ★ 1587200 Posted July 25, 2007 Report Posted July 25, 2007 Yeah, it's setup to only watch Trial Members and ignore everyone else, so the guests should be alright. What I can also do with this mod, is setup a group of annoying people for people like Tizzy, Grav, etc and have all their posts set to invisible right away, which might come in handy at some point down the road. As it stands, we don't have too many annoyances.

If it does start happening then we will deal with it as neccacary. The spam issue on the web is really starting to bug me. My university e-mail filters have been breached over the past couple of days so now i get 5 e-mails a day trying to sell me pills and various other crap.
