X`terrania Posted August 12, 2007 Report Posted August 12, 2007 Major differences between the two imo, but I'd be much happier if Quebec would just leave North America and head over to Europe. Quote
Tiq Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Quebec is one of the best places in North America. Quote

Tiq Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 No thank you. Instead I think I will satisfy my tastebuds by eating the ever popular poutine, available in Quebec. MMMM MMMM Quote
SeVeR Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 There should be plenty of emo-gimps around to get down on their knees to provide you with a table.... should your ordinary table be cut apart by emos to be fashioned into wrist-slitting implements. Â Better not let the emo out of your site though, or you might end up with black hair dye and a pool of blood staining your floor, and a circle of other emos whining about how you abused a willing emo as a table. Â Cheese-topped fries are becoming popular everywhere, although gravy is a nice touch. Quote

Samapico Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 No thank you. Instead I think I will satisfy my tastebuds by eating the ever popular poutine, available in Quebec. MMMM MMMMNow u're talking...   And it's not any kind of gravy... it's poutine sauce...And the cheese... you americans can't even try making your own poutine cause you won't find the right cheese anywhere  The Gravy - French-Canadian gravy (also known as BBQ Chicken Gravy) is very different than American gravy. First of all, it is very dark and thick, like mol!@#$%^&*es. Secondly, it has a very flavourful taste which cannot be described...very much like pepper and vinegar and other 'magical' ingredients. If you can stand a s!@#$%^&* straight up in it, it's good! Make sure it's very, very hot! The Cheese - The cheese is the most important part of good poutine. You must use FRESH white, cheddar cheese CURDS. These curds have a taste and texture very different than actual cheddar cheese. The cheese curds will actually squeak in your teeth as you bite them. While curds are available in most Canadian supermarkets, they are not found in many American markets (the closest thing in taste is Mozzarella String Cheese - but don't use this stuff!).Quoted from What is Poutine? A poutine primer. Quote
Tiq Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 I've tried to make my own; complete rubbish compared to the real thing Quote
JDS Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 that store in the mall, NEW YORK FRIES ; they make a mean poutine Quote
X`terrania Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 Yeah, I do admit that store is pretty decent in terms of poutines. I much rather eat their hot dogs though, but I can't eat hot dogs now due to a few bad experiences... dreams/stomach ache/etc. Quote
X`terrania Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 no, hot dogs brought on a really bad dream though.. was terrifying, the jist of it was:civil war in hometown, long bridge between cities, crocodiles, tar pit trap, screams, etc. Quote
Samapico Posted August 30, 2007 Report Posted August 30, 2007 civil war and hot dogs? sounds fun Quote
