Question about upgrades?

The upgrades in the Armory say "+25%"

So why don't they actually increase the stat you are choosing to upgrade by 25%?

Sorry if when I spend 256,000,000 points on an upgrade I'd like it to do what it says it will -_-

And 13.x billion to 14.x billion is not a 25% increase. If I remember correctly it wasn't more than a 10 or 11% increase at most.

that is a little strange, im sceptical to buy the other 256 one now

i think it only adds 25% to weapon strength and not the actual ranking, could be wrong, but that might explain it? or would 25% to weapon strength be way too overpowering, dont know, its the only idea i came up with, gotta think outside the box

I posted this in "FFS" thread before i saw this, but anyway..

 

Falco, when you purchase an upgrade it adds 25% to the base value, not current value. So, for example...

 

base defence is 50m

1st upgrade > 62.5m

2nd upgrade > 75m

3rd upgrade > 87.5m

4th upgrade >100m

 

Going from 3rd to 4th upgrade only gives around 14% of the current defence

 

So that means you just bought the 7th upgrade (That adds 10% of current value). =P

I hope that makes sense...
