10-12-2002 - U should know.. Bali, Indonesia

11-13-2003 - Thats soon!

If -*BAD WORD*- happens, the Western revenge is going to be sweet. To be honest, I hope -*BAD WORD*- will happen, our destiny as human being is to explore space and find/create places to live in. With the current world population and their politics its impossible, the world needs a c: format, get rid of the trash so it will run smoother in future. =P

Except, ofcourse, the nuclear winter following eliminates all life on earth. =/

Imagine we are really the first ever life in the universe.. and after we nuked each other to death the process of life/evolution won't happen on some other planet again. That would be one -*BAD WORD*- of a shame!

There was a huge spike in the violence in the middle east. I think somewhere around 20 ppl died. Nothing happened here in the USA, but according to what I quoted earlier, the attacks on the US will be today, on the 12th (?) And Kadith, I agree...the terrorists have only won once they cause us to live our lives in fear.

I wouldn't go as far as say America lives in fear. You have a point though. Terrorists are publicized more than their strength warrants. We really should just kill all of them and the whole world will be happy.

umm. guyz u also forget to look at this thing from another view. yes i am muslim but no i dont support them. but america is realy the one starting all of this BS. look at it this way america tells palestine and iserial to stop fighting palaestine agree's so does isrealy. when they agree that means no mor ekilling. but isreal keeps on attaking innocent lives. then palestine retaliates then amreica gets pissed and gives isreal MORE weapons to fight with! I dont know why they give more wepons seeing that pakistane only has rocks and some crappy 20 yr old guns. Then isreal is about 200 yrs advanced then pakestane. plz dont flame about this but im just showing you snother view.

America lives in fear or persuading them to part with their guns/tasers/stun-guns/knives/swords/blow-darts etc. would be a lot easier. They fear each other. They fear other members of their growing class system. The rich fear the poor, the poor fear the rich. Everyone either fears or hates the governments unless they work in the government in which case they fear the public. There is tension between the states and between the north and the south. Whats more, the American society is comming apart, subtly but steadily into stereotyped "minority groups" that do not understand each other or wish to.

If you want a simple example go walk into an American school. The "geeks" or "nerds" fear the "jocks". The whole atmosphere is one of tension and hyper-compe!@#$%^&*ion. Everything is treated as life or death. People that don't seem to fit in are either segregated, drugged or recieve "special schooling".

Now tell me that Americans do not live in fear. Now take a country like Jamaica. They don't feel the need to go to war (like they could!). Their crimerates are high but generally people have a very relaxed and comunal at!@#$%^&*ude. People mingle instead of going their seperate ways and seek to understand each other. I'm not saying its a perfect lifestyle, I'm just saying they don't live in fear.

WTF does this have to do with terrorism? Ever heard of a Jamaican terrorist?

Americans do not live in fear. I challenge you to find an American who has changed their daily lives due to a fear of terrorism. At elementary schools there are earthquake and fire drills, but there arent any of the bomb threat drills that my parents had to go through when they were young.

Terrorism

Q: Does Canada have a special force to deal with terrorist threats? How do I get in touch with them?

A: The Canadian Forces unit that is ready to carry out any task, duty, or mission !@#$%^&*igned to it is called Joint Task Force 2. The Joint Task Force 2 training facilities are located within the geographical area of Ottawa. Unfortunately, all other information is classified.

Q: What cons!@#$%^&*utes a threat to the security of Canada?

A: The complete threat definitions can be found in section 2 (a,b,c,d) of the CSIS Act. Simply put, terrorism (the planning or use of politically-motivated serious violence) and espionage (undeclared foreign intelligence activity in Canada and detrimental to the interests of Canada) are the two major threats which CSIS investigates. Terrorism and espionage can have criminal implications. In such cases, the RCMP investigates and can lay the appropriate criminal charges.

Q: Where can I find background information on Canada's counter-terrorism arrangements?

A: http://www.sgc.gc.ca/national_security/cou...terrorism_e.asp

I bet there are thousands of Americans who have changed their daily lives. I used to think that no-one in Australia would've change their behaviour because of the terror threat - until I met someone who was afraid to go to shopping malls and other crowded places because they were terror targets. Ridiculous, but thats how some people think.

George W. Bush smile.gif Not much of a challenge.

You have mis-interpreted my message anyway. I'm saying that Americans live in daily fear anyway and that "terrorism" or the threat of terrorism only speeds up the rate of American social decline.

i got your fear right here.

typical comments on this thread, specaily from the non-americans. of course you would like to beleive our society is failing or that we are in fear of something. ppl like to see the one on top fall to the bottom. well it wont happen. so dont get all excited. i know this, in the same way you seem to know whats going on in america......yawn.

they kill a few hundred of us, we kill a few thousand of them. sounds about right to me. wheres that fear again? dont forget who the real terrorists are.

First off, may I point out to Madhaha and Monte that you guys are a few thousand miles away from the US, so you really don't have an idea as to what is going on here except what you see on TV.

Madhaha, I would like to attack that last point by you made. In order to make that follow logically you would have to make the !@#$%^&*umption "Americans are not rational beings". I would disprove this to you, but anyone who makes premises like that is a bigot, and thus not worth the time.

ZiG, you shouldn't waste your time on him either.
