Todd Howard, the guy who hate PCs, games, fallout fans, spears and doesn't have a jack !@#$%^&* clue in RPG has said Fallout 3 will be a first person (shooter).

He has also said that the game will have fairly sequential plot course, meaning you get to sit in a roller coaster cart and the little ruby on rails takes you whereever they tell it to, in a linear manner.

 

This game is going to suck, and the devs themselves acknowledged it unknowingly.

Its not entirly first person shooter, from what ive heard. They have this V.A.T.S. thing which is supposedly some kind of action point orientated paused live action or some !@#$%^&*. But ya, its Fallout: Oblivion, or Fallblivion, or Oblivion: Fallout, or mabye The Elder Scrolls: Fallout ^^. Take your pick Whichever it is, its definetly NOT Fallout 3 ^^. Thier are quite a few people making some total mods for Fallout 2 engine with a completely new storry, weapons, npcs etc. Im waiting for some of those to finish, they might even be worth playing, probably be better than whatever Bethesda slings out

E3 said very differently. Infact, fallout 3 was at the top of IGN's 'best overall game'. Can't be all that bad. Infact, it was described as a 'go anywhere, do anything' kind of game, An oblivion but far in the future. I'm confused now.

If you consider oblivion to be a good game then you should be hit on the head with the codex to begin with.

And E3...what E3? The one that was done a decade ago when Interplay/BlackIsle were making Van Buren, or the one done after E3 actually died and where it is now just a limited PR guys + press conference where they feed x3 bullocks into people who write for magazines which are paid for by publishers who grease them to force the editor to put a positive review of utter crap no matter what?
