Wormhole-Surfer Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 I recently switched from a geforce 7900 GTO to a 8600 GT, and although it works great with the latest 3d games, as soon as I entered continuum it was as if I was tripping on acid: sample screenshot: http://mysite.verizon.net/stevenrh/geforce_8600GT.jpg If anyone has any idea why this happens and/or knows of a simple solution, I'd appreciate it. I didn't see any other posts with a problem like this, but I assume I'm not the first person to have a problem with a new video card with continuum. Maybe I need to reinstall the latest version of directx? :?:
Shock Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Someone posted a similar problem not too long ago. I can't seem to find the thread, though.
Hakaku Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Your graphics are overlapping, which means: (menu) View -> Advanced Options... -> software emulation (check this)
»Maverick Posted July 7, 2007 Report Posted July 7, 2007 Try "avoid page flipping" under advanced options
Samapico Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 Could someone add a FAQ item for graphics problem? the software emulation and avoid page flipping solves alot of these... oh wait I can do it myself... baha
Samapico Posted July 8, 2007 Report Posted July 8, 2007 ThanksI suppose that means it's fixed? If so, what exactly did fix your problem?
