BlueWyvern Posted July 12, 2007 Author Report Posted July 12, 2007 A waste of time.Quite the concept. Two words, waste and time, there is so much meaning for both. What's a waste? That's an opinion question. What is time? I can honestly say I do not know.Time is probably best described by the second law of thermodynamics regarding entropy. If you extend the second law you can conclude time is change, whether on the macroscopic or atomic levels.Which is probably why when nothing appears to change we do not have a concept of time, ie a windowless cell in a pitch black dungeon.Anyhow. What you do is decided by thought processes in your brain which are decided by experiences and memory cells which are carefully chemically balanced. These chemicals and the balance between them are subject to quantum probability and thus, you truly have no free will. Your decisions are based on probabilities of atoms of chemicals that make up brain cells that make decisions for you. When you decided that you were wasting atomic change by posting stuff on a trash talk forum, it was only by chance that what you typed turned out to be this. By the way, I'm just making this up as I go along because I feel like "wasting time" too. Quote
