sigh, terrorism in scotland?!

two men, who were on fire, drove a car that was on fire with was loaded with petrol, gas cylinders + nails. lucky none of them really exploded, apart from people hearing a few bangs and that's all.

i never actually thought it would happen all the way up there in scotland, but either way it was successfully dealt with by the police. so now, the terror levels in UK are on critical and the security is being stepped up in every airport in the UK, and even in america.

Well so soon after the attempted attack in london which sounds similar to this I would say a group somewhere has multiple attacks planned.

This is all relevant to the discussion in the UK foreign policy topic.

Like the rest of the UK this is not the first time Scotland has been

a victim of terrorism. Nonetheless, and I disagree this should be

part of the 'British Foreign Policy' thread, these events were obvi-

ously timed to coincide with the elevation of Gordon Brown to

prime minister and (most likely) the second anniversary of the

events on 7/7.
