tcsoccerman Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 I've been using a useful sound editer named audacity. it allows you to generate noises, record noises, and then edit the noise w/ many special effects. You can then save it as many extensions (.wav, .mp3, etc.). I find it usefull, maybe you will too. Here's the website to dl it for windows, mac, linux..and something else:http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
ThunderJam Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Anyone who does serious sound work already knows about it. Its up there among the top free sound programs
Sass Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Anyone who doesn't do serious sound work, or isn't a geek in general doesn't know about this. Thanks for posting it.

Vicarious! Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 Yea, decent program. I've done alot of sound work, my bro and I share a recording studio. Audacity is defanatly handy for some tasks. For you ppl who can crack things, try cool edit pro 2.1, also a fantastic recording/mixing/editing program. or to go all out... Protools. its got it all.
