erm..

 

ID drive seems to be too good..

 

eliminates the need for tw pass and the fact that the safe in tw is gone..it make tw even worse..

 

also

 

ID should take full energy to activate, otherwise people can ID to safety and have a "win-win" situation.

1.NME is destroyed

2.got away safely

 

and i hate how people ID my turret and end up killing it..Its a bloody lame way to kill somebody.

even with a 1/10 chance of blowing up..when everyone is doing it that percentage goes up considerably.

You might say "Well a 10 percent chance is still relativley low" but its funny how within 5-10 minutes someone always get that "10%" chance.

 

I think ID drive should be changed so you cant use ID people by..

 

1.Making energy failure just affect the person who got a energy failure.

or

2.Making ID Drives require full energy to use.

This makes it harder to ID to safety or get close enough to a turret to blow it up..

engine failure is really annoying, and i wont be buying jump or id because of it.

 

the ftl drives are unreliable to bty with so they are reduced to being abused for the engine failure, or to flank basers without a lanc.

personally i liked when tw p!@#$%^&* was a good thing to have.. now i can just buy an id drive for 150k and its pretty much just as good.. i suggest making id drive a lot more expensive or just taking it out completely.. or lowering the cost of a tw pass idk just suggestion

I'd think having ID a recharge time of at least 45-60+ seconds would make it less appealing, so TW P!@#$%^&* would still have some qualities of owning.

well im not so much concerned with how to make tw p!@#$%^&* and ID drives balanced..but i just think its lame that you can blow up turrets that ive been driving for hours with the merest whim and without having to try hunt me down.

 

type .?id c doesnt take a pro.

the only thing IMO that needs to be nerfed about id/jump drives is the failure radius.

 

oh, and make tw p!@#$%^&* less expensive too.

I agree that it should require full energy, it's just that I'm rather lazy and haven't gotten around to implementing that bit of code anywhere.

 

Failure rate should probably also be closer to 1%, but I set it to 10 so I could easily test it.
