I got net banned for no (?) reason and I've already filled out the ticket. I tried emailing bans09 but I got a fail to deliver message. I tried going to trenchwars and asking for a unban, but I can't post anywhere on that forum for some reason. I've filled out a ticket, but this is nonsense and could probably get fixed in a few seconds.

The Trench Wars ban appellate mailing list was changed to bans21@trenchwars.org roughly a year ago. PrittK changes it to a different random number when the influx of spam gets out of control. All the links and dialogue boxes reflect the current mailing address.

Were you netbanned or just banned in Trench Wars? If you were in fact netbanned (which means you can't enter any SSC zones) then good luck. If you were locally banned in Trench Wars, then there's nothing the fine people of this forum can do for you, unless you bug Rudemeister enough for him to look at it.

Chances are I'd have looked at it already had I a clue who in the blazes he is and what any of his ban IDs are. But I don't.

Then why is he still banned?

because the guy did not provide any of that information? he needs ban ID(s) and player names to go on.

Rudy, if you don't mind, I might make a new sticky about zone bans in here and put everyone's e-mail. So if you could keep me updated on TW's, since it seems to be the only one I know of that changes, that'd be great.

Thanks.

I recall a discussion last year about the having the SSC

Netban dispute page having an option to include not just

netbans but also individual local ban disputes. If memory

serves me correctly, it was rejected because some zones

don't resolve their bans via e-mail but by a dispute forum

on their web pages.

In any event, with the unnecessary (and illogical) volume

of local ban disputes finding their way here, I think includ-

ing information about where to address a non-netban dis-

pute would be good. For the avoidance of doubt, DSB uses

e-mail to resolve ban disputes.

Rudemeister

All it takes is a set of eyes to read the Information dialogue to tell you where to go. If certain people are posting in the wrong places about it [cough cough], they must be illiterate at best.

My banid is 2063.

P.S. Get over yourself.

That wasn't so hard, was it?

I just find it frustrating when people expect their minds to be read. A little common sense goes a long, long way.

!@#$%^&*uming your primary nick is actually Kingfish, there is little connection you have to that ban. In all honesty it shouldn't be blocking you at all despite my updating the machine ID of that ban on the 26th.
