»Maverick Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 If you don't recognize the name "SgtBob" then you are caught up in his netban. Fill out the forum or contact a SSC Operator to have it fixed.
Trained Posted June 25, 2007 Author Report Posted June 25, 2007 K. Thanks. Yea, I can login on my old computer.. but not on this one.. weird.
»1587200 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Someone really needs to do something about all these people getting caught up in other people's bans. We have new players who just installed the game complaining that they're banned already, as well as older players who simply buy a new computer. Someone get Prittk to make an update to BanG, tell him that new players can't enter SVS zones because they're getting caught up in netbans that aren't theirs or something. As long as someone makes it sound like SVS zones are going to be hurt, he'll do something...
»1587200 Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 He will if we make him think SVS zones are in danger some how.
»Maverick Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 All you need is a new SSC network to solve this. Quite undoable though.
Smong Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 @SyrusMXWhy are SVS zones so important to PriitK? I think the kind of "update" you are asking for means deleting all bans older than say 2 years. If you look at Steam's history everytime they screwed up VAC they deleted all the bans. I'm not saying SSC is screwed up, just stating the "recovery" option a commercial company used.

And maybe deleting all the bans for say the last 2 years might be good. The innocent will be able to play, and the cheaters will just be re-banned.

Incomplete Posted June 26, 2007 Report Posted June 26, 2007 When one person gets banned, it seems as though 2 or 3 get banned because they get all caught up, no wonder why the pop has gone down so much
