Bug in prerelease (i think)

This bug may be pre-existing, but the prerelease doesn't seem to deal well with high packetloss. It hung twice on me (just stopped responding) and i've been using this system and this dsl connect for the last 4 years to play ss/cont with no probs whatsoever (=

 

The other one (which i think is a pre-existing problem i've just never actually caused the situation before) is cont crashed when i was alt-tabbed when the map finished downloading when entering powerball.

that happens to me only happened in .38 tho. i would alt tab and when i got out it froze

for some reason when i press play continuum it puts me in a chat room....and every time i press the button on the task bar it goes up....but then comes back down like 3 seconds later.....can anyone help me with this???

Sounds like you have some app running that is taking focus away from Cont, possibly some instant messenger or toolbar or desktop thingy.
