Lol yeah, 100 of these lines were saying I was freq 1's captain

I edited server.ini in the subgame zone:

-Commented out directory servers

-Disabled *shutdown command

 

I also saw something that might be interesting for Cancer+:

How to prevent Subgame from using 100% of the CPU? 5/10/2001

 

If you dont want Subgame to use 100% of the CPU open the Server.ini and edit the [CPU] Section

 

[CPU]

LoopDelay=0

ProcessMaxTime=4

SleepPerIteration=1

SlowIterationWarningLevel=100

SleepTime=15

 

after you have set it to this save the File and restart Subgame and it now should only use like 5% of the CPU, this is only usefull when you are running more then 1 Zone on 1 Computer.

Note: Subbill will still use 100% of the CPU and there arent any Settings to prevent it from doing that.

I didn't know about that... Didn't change it though.

I just removed the dirserv stuff from the ASSS server.

 

I don't see the point of disabling *shutdown since anyone that can run that command could just overwrite the server.ini. Anyway, incase someone gets the sysop p!@#$%^&* but lacks FTP I have added the noshutdown directory too.

The subgame one is down for me too at the time of this post ;)

So... what is what... first post says SSdev (!@#$%^&*S) 2 times, which one is actually the subgame one? I'm guessing the first is subgame, since it appears the ASSS was moved to another server...

But still, both appear down to me right now (even after trying to change the ASSS one to 66.186.45.66,6950,,1)

Gerrr so i added my modules to the ASSS server and created my arena "troops", but i have all .dll's not .so's . when someone get's the chance can they go on doc's server and make some .so's from my source. Thank you very much.

Edit: it's troops, troops_drainer, and troops_control to be exact.

Ok I moved everything into the troops directory, moved the win32 stuff intro troops/old (if you don't need it on the server you can delete it), added a .mk file. I also added the start/stoptroops commands to the conf/groupdef.dir/mod file and the modules to modules.conf.

 

Does anyone object if I add the zone to CypherJF's biller?

can someone compile my modules again? and also tell me how to set up the troops stuff for future reference? should i put it all in one folder? what win32 stuff do i delete? i can't run Linux because my computer's graphics accelerator is not supported anymore and Linux doesn't work for that reason. Thank you again.

 

Edit: actually please hold on this for a bit while i fix some things. At least with troops_reinforcements.

I haven't checked on the servers in a while but SSCI Subspace Development (subgame), and 64.85.162.164 8500 (!@#$%^&*s), are still active.

 

I'm not around much lately so if they ever go down talk to Death+ about subgame and Doc Flabby about ASSS. They seem pretty !@#$%^&* stable to me though.
