Hmm... I got the shown error after double-clicking in the "Players" section of the "Team Editor" dialog - also, the taborder is a bit messed up there too.

Oh shoot i know the problem, there was no selected player. Let me fix that real quick and post the update.

I fixed 2 errors actually in this one. Sorry about that bug. Ty for replying.

 

Also, create you're players before making the team. Then you will have players to add .

 

Edit:Updated the program, it now saves players correctly.

[Hakaku]

It's odd, I try to save my team, but it gives me an error message saying "0"... It does save the file, but doesn't load it and keeps the finish/create team option window open. Adding a player does the same thing...

 

The game recorder window was by far the worst part, I timed a game for 1 minute and 1 round, pressed the play option and got a load of errors that appeared every split second and flooded my screen and task manager.

 

You should remove the part that says "height (inches)", because some people might use other systems (such as metric)

 

It would also be nice to be able to add a game that isn't currently in play, because some people don't have 1 hour to waste waiting to add goals in the game recorder.

 

EDIT: I just read your post, and the player-team thing is a bugger. You have to create players... then the team & add players... then load the team again... And you're unable to set players goals or edit their information afterwards, afaik.

 

Edit2: Yeah, the error messages were so bad... that my system needs to be rebooted, because the pinging sound is still playing even an hours later.

1rst i'd like to say sorry for my program having you forced to reboot your system. i'm also sorry for any other problems that occurred.

 

2nd, i'd like to say thank you for trying it out. You let me know on what people think of it when they try it out, and now i know what to fix.

 

3rd i'd like to apologize again.

 

4th i'd like to give you this new version that fixedthe game recorder bug...which lead us to 5.

 

5. I'll explain why you gotall of those popups. You got them because i've been working on adding penalty timers, and was halfway through it. But i had to leave to....to a party and it was lasting all day so i decided to post what i had while i was away. I forgot that this had that MAJOR error/ penalty's were half finished.

 

6. This new version has no penalty's and therfore no error.

 

7. that "error" you got when you finished making you're team was no error, just debug info for me. I took that out.

 

Here is the non error version for hakaku.

 

while you look at that(if you ever do) i'm working on a new version to fit what you expected. here's how i set it up to work:

 

1. create all the players. they go in to free agents.

2.create the team. a list of all free agents are under the "free agents" list. double click the player and add them to you're team.

 

also, i think you'll really like how game recorder is set up once you get to use it without that bug.

 

also also, the current game recorder is only for "a game that is going on now", as you said. i WILL work on one that records a game that already happened. in fact, i already have worked on it and it's almost done. i just need to clean it up and it's errors. i'm pretty sure you don't want me releasing one with bugs .

This new version was made for hakaku. It lets you add players to the team you are making, all in the same window. I'll attach an screenshot too. I hope this helps.
