Beef_masta_flex has x2 army than anyone else, 15,000, while the average is about 6,000 right now, so, what the !@#$%^&*, hes not attacking anyone, hes sure as !@#$%^&* not getting this from income alone, and i know 4 people who abuse the arcade, for example, defend your tower has a save feature, you load, purposely die, send score, repeat, its slow as !@#$%^&* but it works, so it just find it severly cheap that people are doing this, i did the math, 10k every 40 seconds with defend your tower, thats slow, but if you have no life and continue to do this all day, you're 5-6 million ahead of everyone else in a couple of hours.
Suicide_Run Posted June 6, 2007 Report Posted June 6, 2007 Not that hard to get 15k troops if all he does is spend it on UP and terr has a nice reduction which allows him to get it even faster. The defend the tower thing is pretty old considered that I know some people used it the previous round. Considered the fact that abusing arcade has been previously mention and it doesn't affect the game that much. Its obvious that those who spend tons of time on a game should have an advantage over people who doesn't.

Aileron Posted June 7, 2007 Report Posted June 7, 2007 Yeah, abusing the arcade and posting for points has a huge impact on the game, for about the first two days. After that it means next to nothing. Admittingly in round 2 I abused the arcade for the first night. (And only one night...the other 11 hours I logged in the arcade was actually using it.) My game of choice was Tetris. Set it on level 7, get one tetris, suicide, and repeat. Pacman worked good too. The Super Mario cape glide also *could* work if your connection speed is godly. (Yes, you die quickly in that game, but you do gain points quickly which is all that matters.) BMF has bought a crazy amount of mercs...about one for every soldier. His UP is only 70 however. With that number of mercs, he should have almost no income. His money must be coming from attacks then. If he can every get enough money to arm them all his stats would be pretty powerfull, though he's gonna get shafted if he screws up a few attacks. (BTW, I determined all of this with a recon.)

Dav Posted June 8, 2007 Report Posted June 8, 2007 Its only worthwhile in the early stages to get some money. Everyone seems to post a bit more and play arcade to boost themselves a bit. but TBH in the whole round it seems quite pointless.

After the second day it's really pointless, but getting an extra 100-200 thousand points in the first day can get you a small jump start when it comes to attack/defense/covert upgrades.
