Why is every body turning mod\vip i dont really get this.....can some one tell me whats going on here?

Go in members... Instead of 'all members', choose VIP's with lots of result per page...

All of these have been VIP for longer than you were even on this forum.

 

Now do the same with mod...

 

only new mod seems to be Aquarius... for the Subspace Development Team forum. And tcsoccerman, I believe, moderates PSS CTF Fury's forum.

 

Now.... tell me who 'everybody' is?

I mean like theres more and more mods every time i look first there was Aquarius and i know why he got it but then there was tcsoccerman and rc1223. I didn't know you get Mod from moderate a subforum.

When you see under the forum description: forum led by: , it means only these people can moderate that forum (and admins, of course). Actually, even some admins are limited to their forum I think... Not sure if they appear as 'admin' though. But some people have admin powers in their zone forums to be able to manage sub-forums and user permissions within them.

For example, I can only moderate in DCME forum, but my status appears as mod everywhere.

 

 

So I can scare people.

i find it pretty stupid that it says "Moderator" when you're in a topic/forum part you can't moderate at all.

Is it even possible to change the status depending on what forum you post in?

nope, if you are VIP your !@#$%^&*le will always say VIP wherever you post.

its done by a group which is global.

 

Its all been posted somewhere.

 

VIPs are some zone owners, some SScouncil members, Ex forum mods / admins and other respected members (mostly people that have been around a very long time)

 

Smods can mod all forums

 

Mods mod specific forums. There are so many because many mods moderate zone forums, dev forums, squad forums which we have a lot of.
