Most of the screen goes black..

Happens in .38 and .39pr1, sometimes when I alt+tab out of the game and then quickly alt+tab back the screen will be almost completly black. I can still see the greens and nametags, maybe one other thing.. No stars, no walls, no ships, ect. Stays that way when changing arenas. Only way I can fix it is to exit and come back.

Maybe you should play in Windowed mode?

Go to advanced options and toggle avoid page flipping. Play around with more advanced options if that doesnt fix it. Also make sure you have updated drivers and stuff.
