I could see this as a 'Blaze of Glory' suicide weapon if the bullets had zero speed so you had to fly right into your target and fire. Seems like a mine or bomb with safety off would be a more satisfying implementation though.

The best firing rate a weapon can have is only slightly faster than that of the shredder, so you'd still have a stream of bullets unless you started firing at top speed and maintained a perfectly straight course.

but plasma is supposed to be good for shrap, i think beam array and pulse laser already do that job enough^
