You want to provide good information to that article you should look at some other people. Example, grelminar about ASSS -must- be in there. Mine go boom about the development community. Yes Polix with web community. MikeTheNose with a retrospective paragraph on old school event making, while having someone like Wormhole Surfer discuss new school events. Dr Brain and his dev staff such as D1st0rt can discuss the actual creation of advanced subspace gaming. Also: Trench Wars Leagues (among other zone leagues) But trench wars should be the focal point. (btw screw trench wars, but their leagues are a good example) Zone Staffing (this will attract power hungry newbs who play or spec 15 hours a day or more. Clearly note in the article how Continuum is a spectacular chat client. Use the quote "It's like IRC but with a free spaceship game." Squads ?chats Running your own servers. How Continuum is basically a game ENGINE. You can customize everything. They want to hear the old school don't get me wrong, but the new school has to be center stage, we need to let everyone know there is a bright future in development. Just a few ideas, that were not discussed, GET ON TRACK GUYS! Anyways, don't demand control over this article guys, this way you can always blame us if it goes wrong, and not yourselves. Seriously though, while they call me "out of control" the likes of maverick and company are far more capable of going out of their way to smear elements in the game and promote their own agenda than I may ever be.Simple fact is that my only agenda is gaming, games and "the game itself" and what this article is going to be is not about boasting certain idividuals or SubSpace itself, rather to show it as an example of cult gaming and how those games continue on (possibly along the such as nettrek, wing commander, x-com, galciv, meridian59, runescape and others) and I'm far more capable of providing accurate information regarding specific aspects of SubSpace, its community, its the inner workings and sticking to truthful facts and articulated, casestudy-esque, phrasing than these characters.

Ghost Ship is more down in person than he sounded on the forum. And same with MikeTheNose. I think if grav actually read some of my posts where there was talk about the community, he'd see I say it is in shambles, and noone will work together for the greater good, only themselves. And if he asks, we will probably answer something along the lines, that "in recent years, the centralization of the community has fallen apart, and the player base has began to dwindle. But there are still many trying to restore what is left, and bring some new player base to the game". Maybe better worded, but along those lines. If we make it all sound like gum drops and fairies, and the best place in the world to be (Playboy Mansion of course), than we'd just be lying, and piss more people off and get/keep less players. But if we tell them there is a lot of room for improvement, development, and players, it might spark some interest. The main reason I returned to Subspace back in 2000 was that vie had dropped the game, and I read how much it had changed, and how the players we're trying to pick up the pieces. I wanted to help, and was interested to see what a player ran game truly looked like. There ain't many of em, and not many survive as long as we have. I'd like to focus on the diversity of zones, the way so much of the gameplay can be customized, and really just give a lot of info that might interest people who love to develop for games. Cause a lack of any major development is what has killed us the most in my personal opinion.

We'd say the sky is blue, and you'd say it was red just for the !@#$%^&* of ruffling someone's feathers. I can't ever seem to find a post by you, where there wasn't some sort of disagreement you had to point out and begin an entire debate over it. ---------------------------------------------- Back to the topic. The way Polix is going about this is good. Drop some names, websites, websites with information about the game and so on. This article should more or less be about trying to get population in the community again.

If a general moderator or smod did it, fine, they had good reason and most of them know not to undo an admin's actions without so. But you requested them, and they we're granted to you for issues in your zones' forum, not the general forums. If this issue was in there, than ok, but you did it outside of your forum.
