🜲 Samapico Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 I've been having alot of troubles lately on the forums... 1- Rarely can edit a post successfully... the 'loading, please wait' thingy stays there and never disappears, and the edit never completes (after 'quick edit' that is, full edit works fine)2- ALOT of images are shown with red X's... and like... all the time... there is always at least one image in the screen that isn't loaded somewhere on the page...3- The 'Initializing Attachments...' thing is going rouuuund and rouuung and rouuung at the very moment... tho its not something I noticed often lately... it just happened while posting about troubles so here it is wtf? 🜲 Samapico Posted May 30, 2007 Author Report Posted May 30, 2007 doesnt seem to happen much on other sites... dont feel like installing another browser I wouldn't be surprised it being ISP related though... I have 10-30% C2S ploss in EVERY zone I connect to... and I download level files slower than a 14.4k user... so my ISP (which would be my school) screws up alot of connection stuff... though port should be free hmm and clearing the cache didnt help much... did it a few times already (it's not always the same pics that are X'ed anyway... so even if the image is supposetly (sp???????) cached, it can't load it? sounds more like a ie problem... tho I have it set 'check for new version of the page: at each visit' (exact translation may differ)) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/88/Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg/120px-Half-Life_Black_Mesa_logo.svg.pngDCME co-developerSSCU 17th Parallel sysop

Note: Make sure you have friendly HTTP error messages off (Tools / Internet Options / Advanced tab / Under browsing category / uncheck 'Show friendly HTTP error messages' ).
