I was just thinking about it.

 

What if we had a bot or module host a race or elim or rabbit... something during the peak hours of HS every day? This would really help noobs and vets alike get some more money. I don't see much events anymore...

 

Maybe the winner of these events gets 10-30k for win.

 

Eventually people will get tired of events, so maybe once every 3 days or so, host an event?

 

Yes, mods could just do this, but they don't.

Hm, on the elim part, keep a buy system for elim, allow the user to start with 100k and make the ship of their choosing?

 

That would be cool. Give like 2 or 3 minutes in the beginning to set up your ship. How would this work though? Well, I don't program so maybe I should leave that up to the rest =X

I was thinking about this and i was thinking... 2 ships might be good cause ppl might want to switch between two ships... and/or more than 100k... lots of ppl would complain about not being able to buy things they want like ID or AD or idk what else...

1. Bounty rabbit would fit in really well with HS theme and (optionally) it could give you something to do with L4 guns.

 

2. Check out this elim: everybody's in same ship and gets prized random item from a selected subset of useful items each time they make a kill. E.g. kill 1 get quantum, kill 2 get ion drive, kill 3 get close combat etc. As elim progresses each player will have a bunch of random items that they have to make the most of to defeat the other. Every elim would play out differently because you'd have to learn to fight with different configurations. Players vote at the beginning for which ship to use or any ship.

 

3. I have an event idea that I haven't seen implemented before exactly this way. Split pop into 2 teams, and each team has a single "monther ship". This is a wide fat ship with poor handling (fatter than HS lanc) but enemy weapons can't make a dent in its energy--it's invulnerable. Teammates in wbs hide behind this mobile shield to fire at the other team, trying to pick off people who fail to stay behind their own mother ship. Wbs also have limited reps/bricks to bump the nme shield ship around. Last team with any wbs alive wins. The difference between this and turret wars is that players have to have some skill to stay behind the mothership and not die, and it's not a kill-the-mothership game either.

Lol ppl wouldn't like number 2, not being able to choose what choices or whatever, because here in HS we are spoiled biggrin.gif thats why hs is so messed up in some ways...

 

But number three sounds good. actually all 3 sound good.

ide say start with enough money to max 2 ships... one to focus on guns and one for bombs...

 

even if one had 250k to start with they shouldn;t get ad because that person would have to bu a ship and ur monmey will go down as u buy lol

also if people would get items and stuff at the begioning, then exp stuff would be edited for the elim arena... so this meant D1 coulkd just leave ad as a 5k exp item to ensure that no1 tries to buy it anyway... but im pretty sure D1 alrdy has a plan for elim arena with his own sets, coding, ect

We should have a ranking system in a duel arena or elim arena too. This way people can rank if they want to instead of safe laming trying to get a rec in pub smile.gif Which proves absolutely nothing lol. Edited by DaRuler
