Drake7707 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 XDCC Download Manager ^^ screens are a bit outdated but the overall idea is the sameIt was an off and on job for a couple of months, i made the search engine first (rips it from xdcc search sites :3 ), then i started working on the actual irc server control, and then the queue manager. It was pretty unstable at first, but i managed to get it quite robust.I revamped the layout too as a listview just sucks, so everything drawn in the queue is manually drawn in code =.= (took me 2-3 days to tweak that)
»1587200 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Is this an external XDCC manager, or an addon to mirc?
Drake7707 Posted May 24, 2007 Author Report Posted May 24, 2007 completely stand-alone (written in vb ofcourse )
»1587200 Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Heh, I kinda figured it was stand alone. The dialog looks way to nice to be coded in mirc. That's pretty nifty, when can I download it?
Drake7707 Posted May 24, 2007 Author Report Posted May 24, 2007 i've attached it here for now It also registers your nickname on every server, with the given password (it reads the emails from a given hotPOP account if a passcode was sent to complete the registration), but if you don't fill in anything in user, it'll just use a random nickname each time I should change that a bit, but overall it works .. i guess
Drake7707 Posted May 25, 2007 Author Report Posted May 25, 2007 just standard irc protocol (most servers dont support ssl anyway)
tcsoccerman Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 (edited) What exaclty is this gagain? Edit:I got this error...: "Failed to load "que editer" form. Your version may be outdated. make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application. Edited May 25, 2007 by tcsoccerman
Drake7707 Posted May 25, 2007 Author Report Posted May 25, 2007 yeah, seems i have to make an installer for it first to let it work (on some pc's it works, others it won't without installer -_-")
