Doom-Squirrel Posted May 15, 2007 Report Posted May 15, 2007 Obviously some things cost money. A lot of it, actually. Now, I know that you should reward those who put effort into the game But is it right to punish those new players, simply for being new? Discuss. Not a balance post, just a discussion one. Quote
nebulou Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 well i guess this zone isnt for you then. heres some tips: upgrade only one ship at a time. get on teams. if there are basers, try to get on one of the basing teams. if you cant get on a basing team then make a new team and flank them. Quote
Dr Brain Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 No, skill = money/time, or how fast you can earn money. The actual amount depends on how much effort has been put in. It's not that hard to make kills as a newbie, and the rewards are actually a lot bigger than the difficulty warrants. Quote
BlueWyvern Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I never have money so I guess I have no skill. Quote
OrangeeoZ Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 I got warbird.. killed like 2000 times = full stat ship. I go base and then you'll own even more ^ when I was newb Quote
WallBomb Posted May 16, 2007 Report Posted May 16, 2007 gaining money is simple .!Getting skill isnt! <3 newbs Quote
Suicide_Run Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 It is Money = Skills to a certain degree. With the lanc+burst fest, its obvious that is money = skills cause you need an amount of money to get a lanc with everything+ad. After you get it then you just need to rocket, burst, burst, burst, brick, rocket, shoot, die and repeat in a base, doesnt take alot of skills then. Quote
»Ceiu Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 Indeed. Item spamming needs to be reduced somehow -- on ALL ships. The same setup can be applied to any other high-energy tank (see: Leviathan). Quote
