BSoD Error - HELP!

I came into my room to find my XP Pro computer on the XP boot screen (Safe Mode, w/networking, w/command prompt, etc.) after having left the room with it running fine. Computer was IDLE when I left it, and I have not updated or changed any hardware, software, drivers, etc. any time recently. I tried booting the computer normally, in safe, last known good config, etc., and with each one, it would progress to the windows logo screen (with bar moving left to right under Window logo indicating progress) before briefly flashing the blue screen and restarting itself. It will not boot. I booted from CD and ran Microsoft Diag (found no memory errors through 10 cycles) and MemTest (found no memory errors, too). I booted from the XP CD and when I tried to repair the installation, I get a BSoD that stays long enough to read -

BAD_POOL_CALLER

***STOP: 0x000000C2 (0x00000043, 0xC54BD000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

Any ideas? If it's not the memory or HDD, and it's a simple system with graphics and sound on board the MB, does this mean my MB is shot? I've tried searching other forums and posts for clues... any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

how recently did it begin doing this and how long since your last XP reinstall.

Have you added any new hardware or software recently?
