rootbear75 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Settings Changed5 Images per signature down to 2 Images per signature. Something I personally think is still a bit much' date=' but people love those Userbars, so I'll allow 2 of them. 70 lines down to 15 lines. Why do we need people's signatures so long? So many people's signatures are longer than anything they ever post.. HTML has been disabled in Signatures. Why it was ever enabled, I'll never know. It remains enabled in posts though. People should not be FORCED to turn off signatures, just because they can't stand reading a topic where more of the topic is people's signatures than the text in the topic itself. I understand signatures are a way of describing who you are, showing off art work, or just a funny quote, but there is a point where it gets out of hand.[/quote'] Why not just make it so only the first post of a person on a page has a signature enabled?

Its good that sigs are more limited though, some used to fill my screen.

Aileron Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 As for why this happened, well... Yesterday staff got together for dinner and we all had a nice helping of turtle soup. However, turns out I didn't make enough and we were all still hungry so we decided to eat all of your adopted pets.
CRe Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 good thing i didn't put my pet chicken, butter, up yet.
The Real Picard Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 Signatures are cool, I agree they should be a full page but they should allow one to express who they are or what they're feeling. One of the BIG things I like here is the liberal way you folks run and operate these forums... no big bad !@#$%^&* rules (for the most part). You encourage folks to particiapte, even and up to having a RPG game that rewards one for contributing to the forums by posting. I think this is awesome! I have watched other totally destroy the Chaos forum to the point of having to beg to part of the ssleague community, that coupled with heavy censorship and an over abundance of rules and prejudice has driven me away from there. I now would like to call Forum Central my home. And I am confident in time many others will migrate here too! You have alot to offer loyal Subspace Players, aw crap, I love you guys! and gals! Especially LOSA! Peace to all!I am, The Real Picard

My adopted pet ate you all.http://www.intriguing.com/mp/_pictures/grail/large/HolyGrail181.jpg ...And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that with it Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits, in Thy mercy." And the Lord did grin and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and breakfast cereals, and fruit bats and large chu... [Whereupon the friar is urged, "skip a bit, brother"]... And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it." Amen. Arthur then holds up the Holy Hand Grenade Of Antioch and cries out "ONE! TWO! FIVE!" Sir Galahad corrects him, shouting "Three, sir!" Arthur then yells "THREE!" and hurls it at the killer rabbit. The Grenade soars through the air, accompanied by a short bit of choral music, then bounces once and explodes. The killer rabbit presumably dies in the explosion, for the Knights subsequently enter the cave which it has been guarding. %5
Aileron Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Lol grav, you know what film thats from? I'd bet that there isn't a person who goes to this forum who doesn't know what film thats from. Most of us probably could recite entire scenes by memory. I for one can sing the Camelot song by memory. In the next scenelett with the police, they happen to be standing on the shrubbery which they trampled. I wonder if that is an actual joke or not.

Dav Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 I didnt know so many people had seen the film...In the UK just about everyone has seen it. Abroad monty python seems to be quite a cult thing.
Aileron Posted May 11, 2007 Report Posted May 11, 2007 Okay, but you didn't answer the question I implied: Do Police officers in the UK have a reputation for trampling shruberies?
