Yeah, nice. Pretty lame when someone can attack you 22 times in a row with 1 turn to completely rampage your army. I definitely think you should fix that, it's not cool.

It was discussed. massing was put back in because sabotage was powerfull and it couldn't be changed. Therefore damage possibilities had to be opened up on the offense vs. defense front.

 

massing is a valid yet expensive tactic. Expensive that is unless the recipient doesn't buy a defense. If you don't buy a defense, you are, well, defenseless.

 

BTW, there's still an attack limit, its just really high.

Expensive certainly, I lost about 1000 troops and 10mil points doing that, still you were my biggest threat taking about 10mil from me most nights so naturally it had to be done.

Don't worry, your friends just tried to do the same thing to me...emphasis on the word "tried". For reference, the idea is usually to kill the other guy's soldiers. Suicide Run is definitely living up to his namesake.

 

Besides, they haven't even put a sizeable dent in my barrier of mercs yet.

Well, massing is what the Levi was designed for:

 

Warbird: Earn money and keep it

Javelin: Combat specialist

Spider: Covert specialist

Leviathon: Killing things

Terrier: Large sized armies

Weasels: Um....makes a good farm. My little way of punishing stats-hungry people who don't have a strategy.

Lancaster: Has no weaknesses

Shark: Offense specialist.

 

My only regret is that the Javelin's special sucks in hindsight. I'm also suprised of the lack of Terriers, because Deduction is a more powerfull bonus than Income.

falcos had 2x turns at massing me now, its actually quite an effective way to temp set back your enemies but the recovery can be quite quick if you do it right.

Btw, does the rank difference actually make you lose less? I see sometimes it does it but only saves me like 20% of my original gold while most times I only keep 10% or less.

Hahahaha, we owned this topic. So far, I think only army size vs. army size matters, excepting of course racial casualty changes. But rank might affect it as well.

You can protect yourself from massings to some extent but the weapon damage still mounts up.

 

Beef masta has massed me for 2 nights running now and his losses are massive compared to mine. Im wondering how long it will take him to work out of he stops massing me ill stop sabbing his weapons.

The point is, bmf quit..He just masses you for fun. I also get massed by people who quit. Doesn't really matter to me since I work with bank mostly lol.

1 massing you can just about survive but any more is just too much to handle, but when multiple people m!@#$%^&* you you just cant recover, espicially with the mercs limited as they are.

While this game IS won by choosing sides correctly, when it comes to rules and development, it isn't about "sides" at all. I don't agree with Sui because he's "on my side", I agree with him because he's right.
