Why not add an LVZ for AD status. Put it around where your FPS are displayed or by repels and such. You could either do the warcraft icon method where it dims and then a circular overlay displays roughly how long until it's active again, or you can do the progress bar method.

 

In fact, there's quite a few things that could have LVZ displays that don't...

I like the idea of an LVZ regeneration bar, it would keep people from suiciding just for a new AD i bet. It's more visually pleasing...

That's fine with me, but I'm pretty much incapable of making graphics like that. If someone makes me something for it, I'll write the code.

 

I was also toying with the idea of putting some kind of lvz down so that other people can see that you'll respawn, and don't get freaked out by the "cloaking" effect AD seems to have.

I don't think the opponents should know that the player has AD, A big reason why people buy AD is because of the surprise respawn o_O

If the players are good enough they'll remember who has AD and be careful when killing them. =P

This is the reason AD is so lame. If players with AD were good enough they wouldnt need to be invisible for those 3 seconds. MMMM

So, I noticed AD has a "cooldown"... does this mean, you could have infinite AD if you just didn't die within 60-seconds of your last anti-death?

Is the pseudo cloak not caused by the Kill:EnterDelay setting? Because if it is, there are ways (not necessarily simple) to minimize that, it might be worth looking into. I seem to remember the pseudo cloak not being so severe before.

 

For example: Set the EnterDelay lower (1 second?), have people spawn in a spawner box like the old days, but they won't have enough bounty to attach until they're prized (which would be after they're warped out of the spawner.) The prize/spawn event would be on a timer set when the player is killed, instead of an indefinite region check like before.

Yes thats exactly wat it means sharp. As long as you wait 60s be4 u die, u will have ad.
