Paul outperformed iverson in: FG%, FT%, def rebs, total rebs, steals, and !@#$%^&*ists. So looking at things statistically Paul had an overall better rookie year than iverson did. Iverson has always been a gunner. i appreciate your input but that's not what i meant. !@#$%^&* stats. i'm talking about accomplishments. rookie of year, 5 straight games scoring 40+ points, ranked among league's scorers even though he was a rookie, etc. Paul has done none of that. not even close. he will NEVER be an MVP of the leauge. he will NEVER lead the league in scoring 3+ times.

I'm not a fan of either one but in iversons first year with the 76ers they went 22-66, at least the hornets went 38-44 pauls first year. Edit: Chris Paul was the rookie of the year in 2005.
