Poophie Posted April 24, 2007 Author Report Posted April 24, 2007 Honestly, im 21 years old and i wouldnt even date a 18 year old. they're so unstable
ESCANDAL0SA Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) hahaha losa girls don't play 2d spaceship games You're probably a dude just like Audry over here ACTUALLY....if you've even seen me...i don't play, dumb!@#$%^&*.i only downloaded the game again because my friend is the owner of a zone and i wanted to check it out.and what's wrong Dist0rt?Audrey wouldn't give you any pumpum?lmaoooooooo...it's okay hunnybun <3 most ppl i know are around my age (20) and i think they're still not mature. I know i am not mature at all, but definetely more mature then i was when i was 18 thank you for proving my point. regardless of what people say, that age doesn't matter - it does. in rare cases, 14 year olds do endure A LOT of hardships, and mature quicker. but that is rare. Slipped Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Three years age difference (at 14-17, anyway) could be a 'big' difference, but at the same time, it doesn't have to be. When I was 17 I had a good female friend that was 14. If things would have gone that way, I would have dated her in a heartbeat. Her being 14 didn't make her immature in anyway. In fact, she was a lot more mature than a lot of 17 or 18 year olds that I hung out with. Being 14 doesn't automatically make a person immature, and vice versa. I also knew many 14 year olds who acted like they were 10, as I'm many 17 or 18 year olds I knew at the time acted like. Age can, but isn't always a factor when it comes to maturity. It all depends on the person.I don't see anything wrong with a 14 year old dating a 17 year old. In attractions case, like he said himself, he's a few years behind in relationships. I think he's a few years behind in maturity (based on my experiences around him ), so he might fit right in to the 'standard 14 year old maturity level'. Again, I age shouldn't be necessarily be a factor when looking at relationships. Sure, there'd be something wrong with a 13 year old dating a 20 year old or something, but a few years (even as teenagers) isn't always a huge difference.
Drake7707 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 14yo relationships don't last long anyhow, they are experiments that end when you got a result, whether it was good or bad

Audry Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 Seriously, i dont know if i'm ok with it or not. When i saw Doosh saying he's trying to date a 14 years old girl my first thought was "SICKO" Just like when Keiver told me he was e-dating Hawtness who is 15 (if my memory is good ). But after, i reminded myself when i was 14. I was hanging out with older people all the time, and did go out with older men, and i'm far from a ho (Ya you can think what you want but still). The thing is every person is different. I always hanged out with older people, and i still do (I'm 22, my closest friends are 26, 27, 29 and 31). But i always been considered as mature irl (i know, i act like a kid online but thats why i am here, to relax ) So you cant really judge until you know the persons. that was my 2 cent
ESCANDAL0SA Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 honestly...when i was 14 and older guys tried something like that, my first reaction was ew.i recognized myself that i was still young and was still maturing.i hung around a lot of older people as well, but that didn't mean that i was mature.
Slipped Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) 14yo relationships don't last long anyhow, they are experiments that end when you got a result, whether it was good or badNot necessarily. I've got a friend who had been dating a girl since they were both around 15 or so. They just got married about a year ago. I'm not saying they all are like that, but just because they are young, doesn't mean things won't last. I've got two other friends who dated from the time they were 14-15 until the guy graduated ahead of the girl, then they eventually broke up after he went to college. Edited April 24, 2007 by Slipped

Btw suggestion: split this from first few posts and rename to: "Age Difference"
Slipped Posted April 24, 2007 Report Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) True, people are changing in that period of their life, but it doesn't mean ALL people are going to drastically change. Things can work out, but I agree, most of the time it probably won't last all that long. Edited April 24, 2007 by Slipped

»1587200 Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 Once I finish programming this program that will allow me to stab people over the internet, you're all gonna die... Seriously now, back on topic. I'm not a big stickler on women, just as long as their not taller than me. However, the redheads are quite cute for some reason. Off topic: Basketball sucks, get into a real sport where slapping isn't a foul.
ESCANDAL0SA Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 "Off topic: Basketball sucks, get into a real sport where slapping isn't a foul. " how does basketball suck? lol.it takes skills to know how to play and play well.
Shock Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 He means, he doesn't like non-physical sports. Football > Basketball.. but, not too much football to talk about in the off-season.

»1587200 Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 So you're saying it doesn't take skill to throw a two foot football 60 yards to a moving target without someone getting in the way, or you getting hit? It must not take any skill then to hold on to the football while 300lbs men throw all their weight into you trying to knock it loose. It also must not take any skill in other sports like hockey, to get a puck of that size past a goalie decked out in padding and almost as wide as the goal. Rugby, soccer and other sports must not have any skill either. Only basketball is the greatest skilled sport in the world. "OW! REF!! HE SLAPPED ME! FOUL! FOUL!!! *cries*"

ONLY football. to throw a ball that far, i think it's mostly acquired through years and years of repi!@#$%^&*ion, which is why most of the time, their aim is pretty accurate. but other than that, what other skill is needed? tackling opposing players? but basketball...there are only a handful who are good at what they do. it requires more athleticism and focus.
