Smong Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Demo, hmm. Might try this later, 1.2gb download, wonder how much disk space it needs.
Incomplete Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Well its only a demo so once youve played it enough to get used to it or when it comes out you can just delete the demo and get your space back. It said the file was 1gb
rootbear75 Posted May 1, 2007 Author Report Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) Hard Drive: 6.0 GB or more free space Edited May 1, 2007 by rootbear75
Smong Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 I don't have 6gb, but isn't that the space needed for the full version?
Synook Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 The full version takes up 5.5 GB of space for me.And it is an awesome game, FYI - not overly complicated but with a good campaign plot and great graphics.
Dav Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 6GB isn't a lot really, not when most of us have 250gig HDDs
Incomplete Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 6Gb is alot for the 360, good job it doesnt install it on there. only has 13gb
Yavaris Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 If you have the demo, you can also play NOD in skirmish by holding down N while selecting NOD from the dropdownmenu.
Synook Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 (edited) Right... weird... In the full version, has anybody tried playing a skirmish against the Scrim? How annoying are their basic infantry units...Just wondering, on the X-box 360 version, how do you select units, move them, and perform commands without a mouse? Also, if anyone is considering getting Command and Conquer 3, keep in mind that it needs 512 MB of RAM, and by that, it actually needs it - when it runs, it fills up all 512 MB of RAM. Therefore, if you want to run anything else (i.e. host processes, firewall, s!@#$%^&* etc.) at the same time, I would suggest 2 GB of RAM, at least 1 GB minimum. Edited May 2, 2007 by Synook
Incomplete Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Good job i have 2gb RAM... On the xbox you select your group of people simply by moving the camera over them and pressing A, to select all the groups of people in the screen i think you need to hold L and press A. Pretty simple really.
rootbear75 Posted May 2, 2007 Author Report Posted May 2, 2007 too bad the Wii doesnt have a good wnough gfx card... otherwise this would be the Wii GOTY!
Synook Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Really? What graphics card does the Wii run on? I'm surprised it cannot support the game...
Incomplete Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 The Wii is more about gameplay rather than graphics in my opinion. Just like the DS
Synook Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Well... true... I suppose... although the Wii has been more successful than the DS FYI, I was looking in the Command & Conquer 3 folders, and I discovered that by far the largest contributor to its size is the movie files, totaling in at 3.4 GB! The actual "core" is only 1.5 GB. Which crazy person had the idea of adding hours of cut-scenes in games...
rootbear75 Posted May 3, 2007 Author Report Posted May 3, 2007 (edited) The Wii is more about gameplay rather than graphics in my opinion. Just like the DSYup, which is why the DS has done a !@#$%^&* of a lot better than the PSP (ON THE GAME SIDE! i dont give a !@#$%^&* if the PSP can play movies and music, that's what i have a iPod and portable DVD player for... and i hate the stupid UMD format... but that's a story for another topic) Well... true... Incomplete Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Can't you just delete the movies to save space? Wouldn't it just skip the movies when it comes to them or would it come up with an error?
»Admiral Kirk Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 Do you need the disk to play it on the PC? Only if you dont visit www.gamecopyworld.com ^^ Also the nice people that released Supreme Commander totaly removed thier copy protection in one of thier very first patches.

Incomplete Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Yeah, you can download the game, get a no cd crack (Or use Daemon) and a serial gen if ones needed.
Synook Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Sigh... how illegal Can't you just delete the movies to save space? Wouldn't it just skip the movies when it comes to them or would it come up with an error?I actually don't know - I haven't tried (just in case it breaks my version (do you know how long it takes to install? )). But... maybe... search around.
Incomplete Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Anyone played both versions? As in the PC and the Xbox 360? Can't find anything on the net about deleting the movie files.
»Admiral Kirk Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 You know... You _could_ just rename the movie files, instead of deleting them...
