The full version takes up 5.5 GB of space for me.

And it is an awesome game, FYI blum.gif - not overly complicated but with a good campaign plot and great graphics.

Right... weird... hmm.png

In the full version, has anybody tried playing a skirmish against the Scrim? How annoying are their basic infantry units...

Just wondering, on the X-box 360 version, how do you select units, move them, and perform commands without a mouse?

Also, if anyone is considering getting Command and Conquer 3, keep in mind that it needs 512 MB of RAM, and by that, it actually needs it - when it runs, it fills up all 512 MB of RAM. Therefore, if you want to run anything else (i.e. host processes, firewall, s!@#$%^&* etc.) at the same time, I would suggest 2 GB of RAM, at least 1 GB minimum.

Good job i have 2gb RAM...

On the xbox you select your group of people simply by moving the camera over them and pressing A, to select all the groups of people in the screen i think you need to hold L and press A. Pretty simple really.

Well... true... I suppose... although the Wii has been more successful than the DS smile.gif

FYI, I was looking in the Command & Conquer 3 folders, and I discovered that by far the largest contributor to its size is the movie files, totaling in at 3.4 GB! The actual "core" is only 1.5 GB. Which crazy person had the idea of adding hours of cut-scenes in games...

The Wii is more about gameplay rather than graphics in my opinion. Just like the DS

Yup, which is why the DS has done a !@#$%^&* of a lot better than the PSP (ON THE GAME SIDE! i dont give a !@#$%^&* if the PSP can play movies and music, that's what i have a iPod and portable DVD player for... and i hate the stupid UMD format... but that's a story for another topic)

actually, what makes it worse is that the movies are in HD. and have you seen the repotoire (sp?) of actors? you have the Lando (?not sure if its Lando.. but he was in Star Wars) guy from Star Wars, and the original Kane actor, and a bunch of other well known movie/tv actors.

Also the nice people that released Supreme Commander totaly removed thier copy protection in one of thier very first patches.

Sigh... how illegal hmm.png

Can't you just delete the movies to save space? Wouldn't it just skip the movies when it comes to them or would it come up with an error?

I actually don't know - I haven't tried (just in case it breaks my version (do you know how long it takes to install? :o )). But... maybe... search around.
