Dav Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 topics get locked for a number of reasons. 1. if it is going nowhere2. if it is an announcement of some kind its locks so it only provides information3. if it is wholy irrelivant to anything4. if its a bumped topic thats been dead for weeks/months/years you will find older topics are locked so they dont get bumped up after being dead for ages.

Anything from Page 3 back gets locked, and anything older than I think I set it to 30 days? or 60 days? is hidden. Too many problems over the years with people coming in and bumping like 50 old old threads. and then we have to deal with/clean up the mess. And it is just to spam and annoy us.

You don't want that to happen now do you?
