SSDev is a group of (inactive) SS enthusiasts who possess limited to quite amazing skills in Continuum development. Willing to help any zone they see potential in, providing educated suggestions, maps, ship-settings, tilesets, lvz ect..

If your zone is not getting the respect it deserves, leave it to us. Make a new post on this forum with your zone's name, a paragraph describing your zone, and what you feel you need from us. We'll either tell you what's wrong with your zone and offer you help, or tell you to shut down the server and stop trying, newbie.

We target players who want to develop. Developing for subspace is a great thing to do for yourself if your 'that type' of person. It's a chance to unleash your creativity in a place where possibly hundreds of people can enjoy it. Creating something that everyone loves and has fun with is a feeling I have only gotten in subspace.

Heh, this is awesome. smile.gif I have just a little too much on my list.. I would feel somewhat ashamed and bashful-like to present it before you.

Finally some dedicated developers in the community who are not ASSS-only people (I hope atleast). :(

Heh, not exactly the way I meant it. I think some of the coders in the Subspace (this) community are only willing, now, to code for ASSS and ASSS related only, and no longer code for anything that is not ASSS. I appreciate seeing coders who are willing to step out of that comfort zone of ASSS. smile.gif

Who wants to start the new topic on Subgame vs. ASSS?
I hope that isn't rhetorical. blum.gif I certainly don't - kinda talked the whole subject around with someone before in a friend-friend kind of matter.

ASSS is better for developers, really, than the common newbie; whereas Subgame can be learnt and setup much more easily and quicker for newbies. ;P ASSS is better than Subgame, very true, but Subgame offers enough features and is newb-friendly enough to be better for the majority of people (newbies). I would recommend ASSS for people on higher/more advanced levels.
