Don't give the Asian prick the success he sought. Don't focus on his action. Remember the the people who died for no reason.

Remember the many many years that the victims had of life.. not the significantly shorter amount of time it took for them to die.

I live in North Carolina.. I cheer for UNC.. but for now.. I'm a Hokie.

From what I heard, my girlfriend has a friend that has friends that go to Virginia Tech. And one of her friends was friends (too many !@#$%^&*ing friends) with the asian's girlfriend. I guess she cheated on him with another guy so he went to the dorms to shoot her and then went to the Engineering classes (the course she or the guy she !@#$%^&*ed was taking) and just started killing people because he wasn't sure which guy it was.

Of course this could all be bull!@#$%^&*, but this is what I hear.

I think the guy he killed who lived in the dorm with his gf was the one !@#$%^&*ing her, but maybe you're right... he could have just been taking a piss at the wrong time.

-EDIT- Actually, your version doesn't make sense, cos why would he be killing girls as well as guys in the engineering block? Unless she was bi... hmm, ok no.

Dude, this guy didn't have an actual gf.. he stalked girls and got in trouble with the police for it 3 times, and had an imaginary gf he dubbed 'Jelly'

No real gf involved

when confronted with something that you aren't able to handle, you snap (mostly a chain of overwhelming bad events/experiences). That's exactly what happened to him, you don't think logical anymore and you see everything around you as something you don't have/you lost. When someone snaps there's no telling what he/she will or can do.

Everyone's a potential killer, some just don't know it yet, others supress the feeling.

"Snapping" isn't like that.

Imagine swimming accrossed a pool. If you are physically fit, odds are it is a simple matter to pull off. You reach the other side, and then you rest. You could repeat the proceedure many times to swim for many miles.

However, imagine swimming in the middle of the Atlantic. Even if you are an excellent swimmer, there is no place to rest, no source of fresh water, and no place to sleep. No matter how much you are able to handle, you will eventually come to a point where you reach your limit.

This guy wasn't suffering from the pain of 3 or so rejections. He was suffering from the pain of never having a relationship with a woman for his entire life, and eventually his willpower ran out.

Its not the capacity of the individual to endure hardship, its the inability of that individual to find eventual relief from that hardship that causes him to snap.

did anyone watch 360 last night? They say the guy was sexually oriented towards same sex type............ So in simplier terms he was considered gay.

I wonder if his dorm friend ( the guy with blonde hair) was having sexual relations with him. Or I wonder if the note said anything about him beign gay.

thats kinda what i meant, they don't know the reason completely.

Btw i just read in the newspaper that he shot his ex-gf and someone from a student council that wanted to help her first, then went to norris hall and shot 30 other students and 2 professors (one who blocked his way in front of a door to let some students escape)

Lol, rootbear... those aren't funny at all. Not even because they're offensive, they're just legitimately not funny. That's like saying, "VTech got shot lol". You're supposed to have something clever there....

This is made worse when combined with liberal gun laws, often to having access to such a weapon will let the feelings cool off over time as a different way to vent will be found but when a gun is sitting there and somone is truly out of their mind the resucts can only be drastic.

He shot a girl (I don't know if anyone knows for a fact that it was anyone who he was or had been having a relationship with), and apparently and RA that either went to see what the problem was, or just happened to be in wrong place at the wrong time.

2 hours later he showed up at Norris Hall and shot well over 30 students, as well as a few professors (not exactly sure how many were professors). He killed 30 people in Norris then took his own life, making the death toll 33.

I remember watching a video, supposedly unbiased, on the history of gun laws in America. It kept showing people who spoke out against gun use, then it would show someone who was for legalizing gun use, and then go into detail about how they got shot and died. For example, Raegan. He advocated gun rights, and got shot and died. It was pretty funny.
