»freakmonger Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 err..wtf is wrong with the council website? http://www.sscouncil.com/
»Admiral Kirk Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 Domain expired on the 11th, Swift owns it... EDIT: Sorry, ownED it...
»Maverick Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 lol ew.. was there something important located at that website ?
»freakmonger Posted April 12, 2007 Author Report Posted April 12, 2007 A list of council members, BanG ticket (i think), BanG info, and some other information.
Gravitron Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 http://bang.sscbilling.net/ I think maybe I go rush and buy it.See if it can be turned back onto a decent, SubSpace, website.
»Maverick Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 Then you would have to lay down some money for it since it seems to be claimed by a massive-domain-registrator (what do you call it...) already. EDIT: ewww... enom.com claimed it
Gravitron Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 I call it a hacking target just begging to get punished. !@#$%^&* suckers like these should get sued, bankrupted, stripped naked, hanged, tortured and beheaded as to serve warning to the rest of them.
rootbear75 Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 (edited) .....thats swift isnt it? Edited April 12, 2007 by freakmonger Deleted Personal Info
rootbear75 Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 hm... why hasnt been updated with the new owner then?
»freakmonger Posted April 12, 2007 Author Report Posted April 12, 2007 Some registars give you a grace period to renew it AFTER it expired. (mine gives me 30 days)
»Maverick Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 hmmm Swift had it registered namealerts.com which is probably an affiliate of enom.com until 11 Apr 2007 04:38:42. EDIT: Good call, freakmonger, forgot about that, yea the domain is probably in the grace period. Weird how it shows advertisements while it's still "registered" to Swift. It's probably the way how registrars make extra money out of soon-to-be-deleted domains.

»Swift Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 My information is old and out-of-date though so it doesn't help anyone when they only can get my old information out of it Peace.
Gravitron Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 Things like the sscouncil should really be kept in the hands of dependable personage, such as myself and GS.
»freakmonger Posted April 13, 2007 Author Report Posted April 13, 2007 he didn't lose it..He can still renew it (and he will, I spoke to him last night)
»Swift Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 Re-activated, just waiting for it to do it's little magic saying Hi we received your payment blah blah blah. But anyways it's re-newed or whatever. Peace.
L.C. Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 I hate it when this happens. Enom sucks. They were charging me a ripoff $15/year for hlrse.com. I had to go with someone else. There was no grace period or atleast I was unaware. It was supposed to be released a year later, but apparently now it seems like it is in a permanent hole of forever unrentable.
