Knight Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 Think google had a good april fools joke with the toilet internet? 'twas a nice joke, however I swear to god their staff has too much time, and a very amazing sence of humour. Follow these simple instructions To see some interesting humour at work. ^^ (Do not attempt what they suggest...) Anyone ever get directions on mapquest, or google maps? I have. Interesting thing a friend of mine came across well messing around: Go to http://maps.google.com/ > Click the [Get Directions] tab near the top. Once there, Get directions from "San Fransisco, Usa" to "London, Paris". Once it calculates the map, which is always the same. Read through the directions carefully for a good laugh. ^^

»Blocks Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 I'll let Knight get away with "humour," since that's the British spelling, but nowhere in the world is "sense" spelled "sence."
MikeTheNose Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 I'll let Knight get away with "humour," since that's the British spelling, but nowhere in the world is "sense" spelled "sence." And I'll not let you get away with the fact that you spell words improperly. English, not Amerlish.
Synook Posted April 12, 2007 Report Posted April 12, 2007 And the creator of Google is actually Larry Page, who along with Sergey Brin in 1996 (or was it 1995?) created the search engine algorithm BackRub, and applied it to their new search engine Google (a mis-spelling of "Googol" (10^100)), at Stanford University. Just FYI...
