Dav Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 woah i thought mine was lagging behind a little. Im on a 4meg cable line which seems to be falling behind a little atm. Time for virgin media to roll out an upgrade I think They do up to 10meg but its just plain expencive. You get get "upto 8meg" ADSL but i hear it never gets close unless you sit on the exchange. Not heard much about ADSL2, i know its available but not many people have it yet.
L.C. Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 My cousins have 5mbit / 320kbps cable (that was just an estimate). The upload speed seems to be capped at around 30 to 33 KB/sec, while you can get download speeds from 900 to 1.3 MB/sec (up in the MB/sec is a bit rare though).
