shazbot Posted October 31, 2003 Report Posted October 31, 2003 your computer would have to stay online for your server to stay online. or you can find someone to host your zone for you. All right, they're on our left, they're on our right, they're in front of us, they're behind us... they can't get away this time. - Lieutenant General Lewis B. madhaha Posted November 1, 2003 Report Posted November 1, 2003 You can find hosting usually with SSI or SSNT. Ask at their respective forums. SSC is quite strict on which zones it hosts and requires you to have been running for over a year with an average pop of above 10. Bargeld Posted November 3, 2003 Report Posted November 3, 2003 Make sure your name doesn't start with a symbol, and (if you you are firewalled, like a public, school, or work computer) that you have access to send UDP packets. Sysop - SSCX Alpha West SVS
